Facts:
- 70%
of marriages break up for reasons that are not serious.
- 77%
of wives complain that their husband doesn't listen to them.
- Chances
for divorce are 52% for a first time marriage.
- Chances
for divorce in a 2nd or 3rd marriage have a 10% higher rate
of failure than the previous marriage.
If you marry a second time, than chances of divorce rise
to 62%. However, if you can resolve the past and learn more
skills, than your second marriage odds of divorce drop significantly.
- Nearly
half of women and over one third of men have not achieved
psychological and social stability even 10 years after a
divorce.
- In
Cat Burton's research for her upcoming book, “Four
and Four = Mate” (4 Factors & 4 Skills), she found
that there are 4 "must have" factors
and 4 "must know" skills in order
to form an emotional/social bond in a relationship or marriage.
When these four factors cease to exist, the bond breaks
down.
